The Jockey Club Cine Academy was launched on 12 August 2010 with the attendance of Mr. Wilfred Wong - Chairman of Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFFS), Mr. Douglas So - Executive Director, Charities of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Ms. Show Soo-wei - Executive Director of HKIFFS, Mr. Li Cheuk-to - Artistic Director of HKIFFS, Mr. Cheung Ka-fai - JCCA Ambassador, and Ms. Heiward Mak - juror of the HKIFF Short Film Competition.
